shào xīī
The brand name ‘shào xīī’ is a wish for observers to find a moment of rest and ease that belongs to them. The word (稍息）is a homophone for ”At Ease“ in Chinese, embodying the idea of taking a moment to rest. Inspired by the essence of China in the 1980s, I assisted at Shanghai’s nonplace studio to create a logo and identity for the brand.
